On Monday BC Mures 2 had the chance to avange this defeat, when they welcomed CSU Sibiu 2 in the Sala Sporturilor City Arena. And avange they did.
The game started well for the home team who got into a 13-2 lead, but the guests came back and held the rhythm until 20-20. After that George Trif's outfit put down the throttle and never looked back. At halftime the score was 57-26 and the difference kept growing until the end, unmindful of some nice 3 point shots from Sibiu.
The final score 116-69 shows that the team is on the right track, but they still have a lot of work to do to match up to teams like Dinamo or Știinta Bucuresti.
BC Mures played with the following roster: Engi 30 points (6x3), Rasty 22 (1x3), Barabási 19 (2x3), Potcoavă 16, Oprea 10, Bölöni 9, Baki 3, Botos 3, Ilicov 2, Szabó 2, Ștefan.
